Pricing
We know that pricing is often the elephant in the room, and we’re here to address it head-on. At Lux Lights, we believe in transparency and want to ensure you understand the factors that influence our costs. This section will guide you through the key elements that determine the price of your lighting project.
Pricing Overview
Pricing in the lighting industry can be challenging to find online because each project is unique and requires a personalized approach. The cost of your installation depends on various factors, such as the size of the area, the type of control panel, and the time of year. Without understanding the specifics of your individual needs, it’s difficult to provide an exact price, but we’re here to offer transparency and guide you through the process.
Factors That Influence Pricing
Linear Feet
The total linear feet of lighting required significantly impacts the overall cost. Larger projects require more materials and labor, increasing the price accordingly.
Control Panel
The type and complexity of the control panel you choose can influence the pricing. Advanced control systems with more features and customization options may come at a higher cost.
Time of Year
The season in which you schedule your installation can affect the price. Peak seasons, such as the holidays, may have higher demand and pricing, while off-peak times might offer more competitive rates.
But Really, What Can People Expect?
So, what can you really expect to pay? The pricing for our lighting solutions can vary widely based on your specific needs and preferences. In the section below, you’ll see a range of options that reflect different project sizes, control systems, and seasonal considerations. We aim to provide a clear understanding of what influences these costs so you can make an informed decision.

Pricing FAQs
What does the average home cost?
In Utah, our average size home is typically between $3 and $4k.
Can you give me a ball park quote based on square footage?
Unfortunately knowing the square footage of the home is not helpful in determining cost of permanent lighting. We measure linear footage of the roofline which would include peaks, gables, and all area with soffit/fascia.
Why is permanent holiday lighting so expensive?
Like most high-quality, long-lasting products, permanent holiday lights come with an upfront cost. This cost is influenced by several factors, including the durable aluminum channel, the lights themselves, skilled labor, additional materials like wiring, and the control panel.
